Out of the Dark Exhibition
Firepower, The Royal Artillery Museum, is opening a fascinating new exhibition in June entitled Out of the Dark. The exhibition will mark 230 years of the Royal Artillery Museum collection and will feature, appropriately, 230 objects from around the world and rarely seen by the public on show together for the first time. From elephant tusk armour to a lock of Napoleon's hair, this unique, culturally diverse exhibition explores the darkest store room cupboards to bring you some of the most remarkable objects held in the collection that has grown to 3,500,000 individual items in the last 230 years. Object number 230 in the exhibition was unknown as it was the latest item added to the collection just before the exhibition opened.
