MUSEUM OPENING TIMES

The Museum is open Wednesday to Sunday (10.30am - 5.00pm)

However, during school holidays (as set by the London Borough of Greenwich - view dates),
the Museum is open 7 days a week,
and is open on all bank holidays.

Last Admission - We recommend visitors allow at least 2 hours viewing time; therefore the last admission into the Museum is at 4pm.

Groups of 10 or more can also arrange to visit the Museum when we are normally closed.

Special Notice:
In Autumn 2008 the Museum began a major re-organisation of its extensive reserve collection. This means that many of the exhibits currently stored offsite are to be moved to Firepower and will have to be stored in buildings and areas previously open to the public.During this period of re-organisation, expected to last until the end of June 2010, it will not be possible for visitors to access the Museum's Cold War Gallery.

The Museum apologises to visitors for this temporary inconvenience which will ultimately lead to even more comprehensive displays of our world-class exhibits going on show to our visitors.

CAR PARKING SPECIAL NOTICE

Due to the ongoing redevelopment of the Royal Arsenal, the former Museum car park has now closed.

The car park for Museum visitors is now the pay and display car park at the southern edge of the Royal Arsenal, located at the Royal Arsenal Plumstead Road entrance, opposite Beresford Square. The Museum is just a short walk from this car park. For parking advice please call 020 8855 7755.
