The James Clavell Library is open to official enquirers from the Ministry of Defence and other Government departments and to the general public. Some material is subject to official policy on the release of information. The Library is subject to copyright regulations.

The first duty of the Library staff is to preserve the completeness and condition of the Collection. Enquirers will receive as full a service as time and resources permit and will be treated with courtesy and respect. Staff reserve the right to refuse information or access to the research facility.
