Firepower Makes History Fun!
Your visit to Firepower - The Royal Artillery Museum in The Royal Arsenal, will support your childrens' knowledge and understanding of a number of areas of The National Curriculum relating to HISTORY and make their visit FUN. Meet a real ROMAN LEGIONARY – Talk to him about his weapons, his day-day life in the Legion, what was it like to be a Roman. He is historically correct in every detail.
Your students can also meet a real TUDOR GUNNER. He is dressed in the ordinary clothes of a Tudor man at the time of Henry VIII and Elizabeth 1st. Talk to him about life in Tudor times.
