School Visits

Facilitated packages for Educational establishments take place Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday during term time. Non facilitated trips can be accommodated on a Wednesday & Friday
 
Youth groups & Armed Forces affiliated youth associations can book both facilitated & non facilitated trips to the Museum on any day that we are open to the general public. Please note that facilitated activities during the weekend are limited.
 
We are currently booking Educational establishment visits for October onwards.

Firepower offers an exciting and safe learning experience, which can be tailored to meet the needs of many different groups.

Groups that can benefit from visiting Firepower:

  • education for schools (key stages 2, 3, and 4)
  • further education
  • adult learning
  • special needs groups
  • military historians


Planning and booking

To help you plan your visit and make a booking, an education resource pack is available. It contains cross-curricular links and project ideas, exemplar worksheets for key stages 2-4 and booking information.
Each booking is dealt with personally and tailored to fit each school and subject. There is no minimum or maximum restriction on numbers.
